personal:: goals for october

well, it's been quite the month! 4 weeks ago, we lost our second bebe., at 10 weeks into our pregnancy. needless to say, my goals went out the window and life has been somewhat less-than-normal since then... we have also had family in town for three weeks in a row! it's been great. vancouver is experiencing a sunny, mild, fall thus far and i'm excited about upcoming photoshoots. here is a recap of my september goals~

personal::

  • run or swim 3x/week.
  • drink 8-10 glasses of water/day.
  • call momma 2x/week.
  • help charlottes. skype w/ gran on mondays and mimi on tuesdays
  • organize saving goals for house projects/purchases.[we began discussing this, but, haven't come up with a concrete plan.]
  • nanny 2 days [didn't happen b/c of the miscarriage.]
  • paint chest of drawers in charlottes.' room
  • finish decorating crib space in charlottes.' room
  • organize office with marks. [i wish i could mark this off. it's 75% done, so, we've made tons of progress this month.]
  • choose/print photos for empty frames
  • make august facebook photo album
  • book flights for Christmas travel if reasonable
  • back up summer photos and make disks
  • take self-portrait each week for personal photo project [i dropped this project this month.]

  • finish editing 3 outstanding weddings [one down, two to go...]
  • edit sister-friend~* and twin~* portraits
  • finish may family photos
  • blog at least 2x/week
  • shoot 3 family sessions
  • organize fall mini-session event and post on facebook
  • update one section of website with recent work.


well, i am kind of impressed i even accomplished that much... probably helps i'm nearly done with october already :-)... i'd like to set attainable goals for the duration of october... thus!

OCTOBER GOALS::

personal::

  • stretch/do crunches each night
  • cut sugar/caffiene from diet
  • drink 8-10 glasses of water/day.
  • call momma 2x/week.
  • help charlottes. skype w/ family on mondays
  • organize savings goals for house projects/purchases.
  • hang pictures in charlottes.' room
  • finish decorating crib space in charlottes.' room
  • decorate my office corner.
  • choose photos for empty frames
  • make september facebook photo album
  • burn disks for family/friends who have visited us this month
  • keep a daily log/journal
  • finish reading current book
  • research swim lessons for charlottes.
  • plan marks.' big 3-0 birthday
  • make a weekly schedule

there you have it, then.  i hope to check in very soon with some new work... there is lots to share now that things are "back up and running", so to speak :-). huzzah!
